About

New to First Baptist Church Keller? We are a community of believers.

At First Baptist Church of Keller, we share a common goal. We want our lives, our families, and our church to bring glory to Jesus Christ. We know that Christ is glorified through our worship, our service to each other and our community, and our obedience to His revealed Word in the Bible.

Visit us at either our north or south Welcome Center. You will be blessed to find there is a place for you to grow and learn. Our prayer is that your family will be drawn into a deeper relationship with Jesus as we work together to glorify His name.

What does First Baptist Church Keller believe?

First Baptist Church of Keller (FBC Keller) is a body of people who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by accepting His death as the reconciling act of God and mankind. We follow Jesus' example “to seek and save the lost” in Keller and the surrounding areas, the United States, and, literally, all around the world (Luke 19:10; Acts 1:8). We seek to obey God's instructions from the Bible to be a church that honors Christ through utilizing our collective resources, time and talents for teaching the Bible, encouraging other Christ-followers and worshiping Jesus Christ as the one Son of God.

The history of FBC Keller dates back to the late 1800's when a group of followers of Jesus Christ began Keller Baptist Church. FBC Keller voluntarily associates with the Southern Baptist Convention.

What is the Sunday morning schedule at FBC Keller?

Each Sunday morning the members of FBC Keller, along with guests and visitors, gather for worship and Bible Study. This group includes around 1,200 adults and children of various ages, races and backgrounds.

We have two corporate worship opportunities at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. We offer Bible Study for all ages at 9:45 a.m.

What can I expect from a worship service?

Both of our Sunday morning worship opportunities include biblically-based preaching and uplifting music which consists of a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. Our aim is to provide an environment where the entire family can come together and worship in a way that focuses worship on God. Each service lasts approximately one hour. During each worship service, visitors are not singled out or embarrassed but are simply asked to complete a guest registration card available from each pew in the worship center.

What should I wear?

Those who lead in worship dress conservatively, generally coat and tie, but attendees dress in various styles – from jeans to business suits.

How can I find the right Bible Study groups for me and my family members?

At both main entrances of the building, there are Welcome Tables by which volunteers are stationed and prepared to help you find a Bible Study class. Stop by and say, “I'm not sure where to go,” and someone will be glad to assist you by escorting you to the appropriate room(s).
