Core Values

The following values guide the Worship and Creative Arts Ministry:

We seek to bring glory to God in everything we do.  We believe God is the only One worthy of our praise.

We believe Christ's life, death, and resurrection are the central events on which we base our corporate worship experience.

We believe God's Spirit calls us to worship.  As the Holy Spirit works in our lives, we are drawn to glorify God and live in a way that pleases Him.

We desire to communicate sound biblical doctrine in all we say and do.  The scriptures are the primary criteria by which we plan worship, and the biblical patterns are the primary vehicles by which we practice worship.

We affirm God's greatness when we bring Him our very best in worship.  Therefore, we seek to honor God by striving for excellence in all creative pursuits.

We value corporate worship experiences which connect our youngest worshippers with our oldest worshippers.  We believe the Body of Christ is depicted best when all generations participate in worship together.

We believe God by nature is creative, and that we, being made in His image, share in His creative nature.  Therefore, it is important we use our creativity in the praise and worship of God.  Furthermore, we strive to help others develop their creativity to the glory of God.

We believe there is a biblical precedence for training and educating younger generations to help them become effective worshippers.  We further affirm all believers to continue to deepen their understanding of worship throughout their lives.

God calls us to minister to one another.  Therefore, we seek to minister to our congregation, and especially those involved in the Worship and Creative Arts Ministry of FBC Keller.  We expect our members to have a growing relationship with God that results in continuing transformation of character and behavior.
