A Psalm of Praise

Psalms of Praise and Thanksgiving
Psalms of praise and thanksgiving are littered throughout the Psalter. In some instances, praise and thanksgiving are expressed for the mighty works that the people of God have experienced in a corporate way. At other times, the cause of praise and thanksgiving is due to the specific faithfulness that a person has experienced in their own lives. The Scriptures are clear about what our praise and thanksgiving should look like. These psalms are not only a reflection of the praise and appropriate worship of a people in history, they are formative in our understanding and practice of praise and worship as present-day Christians.
