Adult Worship Arts
The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry provides numerous opportunities for adults to serve.
Whether you are a vocalist, instrumentalist, or gifted in audio and visual communications, we have a place for you.
Sanctuary Ringers
Sundays
4:00-5:00 p.m., Room 222
Alleluia Ringers
Sundays
5:00-6:00 p.m., Room 222
Our Handbell Ministry provides an opportunity for handbell musicians of all ages and experience levels to grow as musicians and participate in worship leadership. The adult handbell ensembles rehearse weekly and participate in worship services and special events, including our annual “Ring & Sing” Christmas program. The ringers play on 64 Schulmerich handbells (five+ octaves), 67 Malmark Choirchimes, and some additional bells. Some music experience is required, but you need not be an experienced handbell musician to participate.
Sanctuary Choir
Wednesdays
7:00-8:00 p.m., Choir Suite
With 100 voices comprised of college students through senior adults, this ministry focuses on glorifying God and the edification of the body of Christ. Since no audition is required, Sanctuary Choir is for any adult who wants to serve God through singing. In addition to leading in weekly corporate worship, sacred and seasonal presentations are hallmarks of this vibrant ministry.
Orchestra
Wednesdays
7:10-8:10 p.m., Worship Center
Made up of woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion, the orchestra regularly contributes to the Sunday morning gathering in addition to a full schedule of special presentations. Membership is by interview as we continually seek to “play skillfully” as instructed in Psalm 33:3. Occasionally, we have an outstanding high-school or middle-school student that has the skill level to be a member of the orchestra.
